We are seeking a driven, solutions oriented and enthusiastic individual who will be responsible for the flow of merchandise through physical receiving processes from inbound trucks to the sales floor and back stock management through the sales cycle, customer service and pick up or delivery to our clients

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Physical endurance to lift up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the day. Ability to handle hanging heavy lighting fixtures and wall accessories on a time to time basis.

  • Basic woodworking and furniture finishing knowledge to handle small repairs as well as basic building & showroom maintenance experience.

Please enquire at your local Chintz & Company location. This is a wonderful opportunity for avid sewers who wish to work full or part time at home creating couture cushions, window coverings and beddings.

To qualify, you will need good updated domestic sewing equipment inclusive of a 5 needle serger, walking foot Phaff or equivalent. You will need a 6x10 ft cutting & pressing table and a non smoking home environment. A vehicle is required to pick up work orders and deliver finished items back to the store.
