A vehicle is essential for home design consultation in order to provide calculated space planning and on site visual project collaboration with our client.

DESIGN ASSOCIATE 

Full or Part time positions available.

This is our entry level to pursue your career in Interior Design in our inspirational setting. The successful applicant will be visually driven, confident with customer service, creative, detail oriented and an exceptional listener. You must be hard working and organized to assist in all aspects of merchandising and maintaining the showroom. You need to be confident balancing customer service and retail store tasks.

FLORAL DESIGNER  

The successful applicant is outgoing, highly creative, resourceful, passionate and extremely talented in the art of botanical arrangement and home accessorizing. You would work throughout the store curating beautiful floral, accessory and soft furnishing stories for your devoted followers.

DESIGN MANAGER 

The successful applicant will be an accomplished sales professional with an extensive career in residential interior design.  Our ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail oriented and will embrace the challenges of teaching & processing soft furnishings custom project administration detail to ensure the Chintz processes run smoothly and the customer experience is exceptional. They will be a strong leader with a passion for interior design details, soft furnishings trends and store merchandising.  Confident textile and sewing construction knowledge is a must for overseeing interior projects including window coverings, bedding and upholstery.  

The Design Manager will be responsible for oversight and management of all workings of this department from training and  inventory management,  trade and industry networking, to the maintenance of excellent workroom relationships.

DESIGN COORDINATOR

A critical position in our Design Department, the successful candidate will be a motivated self starter with a good working knowledge of textiles, soft furnishings pattern layout & basic sewing construction. Responsible for the overall maintenance of the Design Department, the ideal candidate must be meticulous and highly organized. Our Design Coordinator will support and demonstrate a strong customer care initiative as well as maintain and update our sample showroom. They will act as a point person for inter-store and vendor communications. 

Physical requirements dictate that our candidate have the ability to lift a minimum of 35lbs, with the ability to climb ladders over 6 feet.

HOME COUTURE AT HOME

This is a wonderful opportunity for avid sewers who wish to work on a casual, full or part-time basis from home, creating beautiful custom couture cushions, window coverings and bedding.  Compensation is piece work and earnings range between $30 to $40 per hour dependent on experience.

To qualify, you will need domestic sewing equipment inclusive of a 5 needle serger, walking foot Phaff or equivalent. You will need a 6x10 ft cutting & pressing table and a non smoking home environment. A vehicle is required to pick up fabric and deliver finished items back to the store.
